Authorised financial service provider (FSP45654):
About Us
Our Mission
Good business practice, communication and service excellence is our Philosophy. At Kerrsure we work as a team and support each other for a common goal in doing what is best for our client and abiding and adhering to our industry’s code of conduct.
We pride ourselves on honesty, integrity, competence, transparency and confidentiality in all our business dealings. Longevity of business and retention of clients lie at the core of our practice.
We have been delighted to see this ultimately translated into client loyalty and client satisfaction, where products that have been tailored to suit diverse needs have met the test of delivering the right outcomes at time of claim.
Our History
Kerr is the name of Gillian’s family Scottish Clan and the motto is ‘late but in earnest’ . Jen, Jude and Gillian believe we are never too young to stop learning and growing.
There is no standing still in life no matter one’s age – the motto was therefore very relevant and was heartily embraced. The name is a legacy to honour Gillian’s parents, their origins and in tribute to her entire family. The name and logo Kerrsure was ‘word-smithed’ by many friends and clients and credit must go to the Adamsons, very special friends who were instrumental in the formation, wise counsel and guidance in our early days.
Treating Customers Fairly
The intention of the Regulator of Financial Services is that your experience as a client should be that we, and the Financial Services Industry generally are treating you fairly.
As well as doing things correctly in a technical sense, firms are expected to demonstrate that we deliver certain outcomes to you over the course of your business relationship with us. There are 6 “Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)” outcome areas, of which the following are most relevant to our relationship with you:
- You should be confident that treating you fairly is central to the Kerrsure culture;
- You are provided with clear information and kept appropriately informed;
- That where advice is given, it is suitable and takes your circumstances into account;
- That products perform as you have been led to expect and that our service is of an acceptable standard;
- That you do not face unreasonable barriers to product changes, claim submission or complaints.
We are a fully licenced Financial Service Provider complying with current legislation. If you should feel that we are not helping to realise any of these TCF outcomes, please let us know so that we can address your concerns.
